Leav & Steinberg, LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in New York personal injury litigation and be comfortable handling matters from inception through note of issue.

This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent written communication, and consistent client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular client contact , including updates and follow-ups
• Draft and file Summons and Complaints
• Draft and file Bills of Particulars
• Draft and file discovery demands and responses
• Review and manage discovery deadlines and compliance
• Draft and file Notes of Issue
• Organize case files and maintain accurate litigation calendars
• Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, and clients as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal (New York litigation experience strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with NYSCEF and e-filing procedures
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience handling cases through trial readiness
• Knowledge of CPLR and personal injury litigation procedures
