**Your future role at a glance** **Location:** Tulsa, OK **Facility:** Ascension St John Medical Center **Department:** Patient Transportation **Schedule:** Full-time | Friday - Sunday 7:00am - 7:30pm **How you'll make an impact in this role** + Provide safe, compassionate patient transport across the facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed—ensuring continuous comfort and care while managing critical attached equipment like intravenous pumps, oxygen tanks, and monitors. + Support seamless patient transfers into and out of personal vehicles, wheelchairs, and stretchers to deliver a smooth, reassuring arrival and departure experience. + Streamline clinical workflows by promptly delivering essential medical equipment and diagnostic specimens to requesting units and care teams. + Dignify end-of-life care by respectfully assisting clinical staff with the sensitive transfer and transport of deceased patients to the morgue. + Serve as a welcoming ambassador for the hospital, offering clear directions and helpful guidance to put patients, families, and visitors at ease. **What minimum requirements you'll need** **Licensure / Certification / Registration** + Required Credential(s): + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
