Sous Chef (OEM)

Sous Chef Position We are seeking a motivated and creative sous chef to join our talented culinary team. The ideal candidate will be the executive chef's trusted second in command, helping to deliver exceptional dining experiences by ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. We are looking for a leader who can manage kitchen operations, mentor staff, and maintain efficiency and sanitation in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities Help lead and support the kitchen team by training, coaching, and motivating staff Assist the executive chef with daily kitchen operations and step in when they are absent Help plan menus and develop recipes that meet quality standards and guest expectations Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and at a high level Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets all health and safety standards Manage food quality, food costs, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships Control costs by supporting scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing decisions Work closely with other departments and attend meetings to keep operations running smoothly The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list; additional tasks may be assigned at any given time.
