Technical Product Owner

- Technical Product Owner III## Location: Atlanta (onsite) NCR Voyix is seeking an experienced **Technical Product Owner III** to lead the development and evolution of strategic product initiatives. This role is responsible for defining product vision, managing product backlogs, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions that drive business value.The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with technical acumen, stakeholder management skills, and experience working in Agile environments. ## Key Responsibilities* Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.* Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams to gather, refine, and prioritize product requirements.* Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring stories are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development.* Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.* Work closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Architecture, and Business teams throughout the product development lifecycle.* Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure successful product delivery.* Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, customer feedback, and product performance metrics to inform product decisions.* Serve as the voice of the customer and advocate for user-centric product design and functionality.* Track product outcomes and KPIs, identifying opportunities for enhancements and continuous improvement.* Communicate product updates, roadmap priorities, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.* Support and mentor junior Product Owners and contribute to product management best practices across the organization.## Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.* 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role.* Proven experience delivering software products in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).* Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and modern product management methodologies.* Experience managing product backlogs and writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.* Demonstrated ability to balance business priorities, customer needs, and technical considerations.* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.* Experience working with product management and Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar.## Preferred Qualifications* Master's degree in a related field.* Experience supporting retail technology, commerce, payments, SaaS, FinTech, or enterprise software platforms.* Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent certification.* Experience working with cloud-based platforms, APIs, integrations, and data-driven product development.* Experience leading complex, cross-functional product initiatives in a global environment.## Key Competencies* Product Strategy & Roadmap Planning* Agile Product Ownership* Stakeholder Management* Customer-Centric Mindset* Business Analysis & Requirements Management* Data-Driven Decision Making* Communication & Influencing Skills* Cross-Functional Collaboration* Continuous Improvement & InnovationOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
