Quality Inspector I-A2/B2

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC) to join their team. As a Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC), you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector I-A2/B2 (SLC)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $20.33

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift, 6:30PM - 6:30AM

What's the Job?

• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications
• Conduct routine and non-routine inspections using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
• Support PCI activities for NA Notifications at the US Regional Service Center as needed
• Ensure compliance with all procedural requirements to maintain adherence to Quality System Regulations (cGMP)
• Assist with document archival processes, including preparing pallets for shipment and scanning documents into electronic systems

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; AA or Technical Degree preferred
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
• Good written and oral communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is preferred
• Ability to perform inspection tasks using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
