Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to patients ranging from toddlers to geriatric adults. This role involves conducting thorough assessments, planning individualized treatment, implementing therapy, and evaluating patient progress with a focus on speech and swallowing disorders.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic speech, language, and hearing evaluations, including swallowing assessments.
• Prepare detailed reports of evaluations with recommendations for treatment.
• Deliver direct speech and swallowing therapy under physician orders, documenting patient responses.
• Maintain accurate records including evaluations, care plans, and daily therapy notes.
• Coordinate therapy programs with other healthcare services.
• Demonstrate therapy techniques to caregivers assisting with rehabilitation.
• Supervise and guide assistants involved in speech and swallowing therapy to ensure quality care.
• Counsel patients and families regarding speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Reassess patient progress regularly and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Refer patients to appropriate community resources and therapy programs.
• Promote awareness of speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders through staff education and community outreach.
• Maintain liaison and follow-up with community agencies.
• Apply clinical judgment and specialized skills tailored to patient age and diagnosis.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences or related field.
• Master's degree (M.A., M.S., or M.A.T.) in Speech Language Pathology.
• Preferred: One year of clinical experience; however, candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship are encouraged to apply.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current or in-progress state licensure.
• Current or pursuing Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Work Shift: First shift, full-time (40 hours per week).
