We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable process, ensuring invoices are accurately processed, payments are made on time, and vendor relationships are maintained professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account questions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support accounting team members with reporting and other financial tasks
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting or ERP software preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• High level of accuracy and confidentiality
