Staff Accountant | Amazing 401(k)

Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a nonprofit client on northside of Indianapolis looking for a Staff Accountant. This role will report to the Controller, be a part of a small but established team, and will have room for growth in GL accounting. Open due to an incoming retirement.

Duties:

Journal entries and month-end close support
Cash and investment account reconciliations
Monitor cash and investment activity on the balance sheet
Fixed asset tracking and reconciliations
Corporate credit card program administration
Support operational and light HR-related tasks
Partner with leadership to understand activity and provide insight beyond transactional work
Exposure to operating foundation accounting
AI implementation focus many licenses available

Requirements:

1+ years' progressive GL accounting experience, ideally at a nonprofit
Bachelors in finance or accounting
Hunger for growth in GL accounting
