Accounts Payable Specialist

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client in downtown Indianapolis in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team due to growth. What You'll Do: Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. Review, verify, and reconcile invoices and expense reports. Maintain records for audits and financial reporting. Collaborate with teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payments. Assist with month-end close by preparing reports and reconciling accounts. Ensure compliance with accounts payable policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements. Respond to vendor and internal payment inquiries. Support special projects as needed. What Makes You a Great Fit: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. 3+ years of accounts payable or related experience. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills. Able to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines. Adaptable and eager to learn new systems and processes.
