Desktop Technician

Location: North Syracuse, NY (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Desktop Technician to provide onsite laptop and desktop repair services throughout the North Syracuse metro area. If you have experience troubleshooting computer hardware, replacing components, and enjoy working independently while traveling between customer locations, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform laptop and desktop repairs.
• Diagnose and replace hardware components, including: Hard drives, Motherboards, Keyboards
• Perform complete system swaps when necessary.
• Repair or replace computer peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, and mice.
• Accurately document and close service tickets in the company's call management system using a company-issued phone.
• Deliver professional and timely customer service while working independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on laptop and desktop break-fix experience .
• Experience building or repairing computers is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and PC hardware/software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass required background checks and customer security clearances, if applicable.

Requirements

• ✅ Ability to travel throughout the North Syracuse metro and surrounding areas.
• ✅ Ability to lift and transport computer equipment as needed.
