Home Health Scheduling Specialist/Medical Scheduler Principle Health Systems is hiring a Home Health Scheduling Specialist to support Principle Laboratory by scheduling home health patients for laboratory/mobile phlebotomy services. This role handles high volume calls (outbound and inbound), ensures call time efficiency, transfers/assists callers reaching out for various assistance, and navigates through multiple computer systems daily (Outlook, Vonage, Teams, Chat, Phlebio). The Home Health Scheduling Specialist is responsible for ensuring that incoming orders are logged and scheduled efficiently and that all customer and/or patient concerns are addressed urgently. The ideal candidate will have diligent attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be self-motivated to achieve daily scheduling goals. Previous experience working within a call center or contact center with strong customer service skills is preferred. Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm Full-time, Permanent role $17.00/hour Competitive benefits available for full-time roles (health, vision, dental, 3 weeks PTO, 9 paid holidays and matching 401k) Responsibilities Order Management Monitor incoming faxes and emails for new lab orders. Log all orders, save files, and verify for completeness. Communicate incomplete orders to the Sales team for follow-up. Scheduling Schedule patient draws via phone, aligning with defined route schedules and customer needs. Communicate scheduled orders, questions, and concerns to internal contacts via email and phone. Customer and Patient Support Address and/or escalate patient or customer issues promptly. Maintain detailed notes on all customer interactions and scheduled draws. Additional Duties Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and organizational goals. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Physical/Mental Requirements Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer, phone, and office equipment for prolonged periods. Manual dexterity for typing and handling documents. Clear vision to read screens and printed materials. Effective hearing and speaking to communicate via phone and in-person.
