Position Overview:

The Junior Loan Specialist is responsible for supporting daily loan operations. This role assigns incoming loan files, manages CRM leads, maintains organized and accurate records, and performs data entry with a high level of accuracy. The Junior Loan Specialist troubleshoots and supports CRM workflows, provides administrative and operational assistance to loan officers and team members, and helps maintain a smooth, compliant, and customer-focused lending process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assign loan files within the system.
• Manage and assign leads within the CRM.
• Maintain and update CRM records with accuracy.
• Perform data entry and data maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot lead routing issues and CRM workflow problems.
• Communicate daily with loan officers and team members.
• Assist with loan application processing and file support.
• Provide technical support as needed.
• Maintain organized and accurate records.
• Support efficient and timely loan processing.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications, preferred.
• MLO license preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with technical support and troubleshooting in loan software or CRM systems.
• Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry, preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate data and identify trends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficiency with basic office software and tools.
