Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) RN provides compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. This role requires clinical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt to various patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care in the emergency environment.
• Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in acuity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Float to ICU as needed, demonstrating flexibility across units.
• Comply with all regulatory standards and maintain required certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California Registered Nurse license.
• Possess at least one year of recent RN experience within the past 24 months, preferably in ER or ICU settings.
• Demonstrate current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; additional certifications like NRP, TNCC, and CEN are encouraged.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Show ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with excellent critical thinking skills.
