Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Catering Manager based in Herndon, VA. The Catering Manager will oversee all aspects of catering operations, including event planning, menu coordination, and managing catering staff. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality food service, maintaining client satisfaction, and managing budgets. The role also involves collaborating with clients to customize catering solutions, managing food preparation and presentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Additionally, the Catering Manager will work closely with the kitchen and service teams to deliver memorable dining experiences for clients.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Food Service and Catering operations, with a proven ability to manage end-to-end processes
• Hands-on experience in Cooking and Food & Beverage management
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain client satisfaction
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding and adherence to food safety standards and regulations
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
