Medical Receptionist (Dermatology)

Receptionist Position

Valeo Resources has partnered with a local dermatology center that is constantly evolving! We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time receptionist to join the team in Stuart, FL! In this role, you will be working with patients and families of all ages, checking in and checking out patients, verifying insurances and walking patients through their insurance prior to their visit.

Position: Receptionist

Location: Stuart, FL

Schedule: M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2) 8:30am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Checking in/out patients
• Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
• Walking patients through their insurance information if they need assistance
• Answering phones, assisting with office organization, keeping schedules organized
• Following up with patients post-visit and to confirm upcoming appointments
• Being the friendly face who helps the patient and smiles to make their day as some of them have incurable ailments.

Requirements:

• Must have medical receptionist experience
• Must have customer service and a calm and kind demeanor
• Patience to help those who might need extra help
• Good work history (no job hopping)
• Ability to manage a calendar, answer phones and also check in/out patients
• Collect payments per the insurance co-pay or in addition to deductibles
