Compensation: $90,000-$100,000+ annually, plus commission

eNetwork Supply is a provider of new and pre-owned equipment serving the telecommunications, cable, IT, phone, and data center industries .

We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to join our team in Skokie, Illinois. This is an opportunity for an accomplished business development and sales professional to build strategic relationships, develop new markets, expand existing accounts, and contribute directly to company growth.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in telecommunications, data, and IT sales, a strong record of developing lasting customer relationships, and the ability to build and execute strategic sales plans.

What You'll Do

Business Development & Sales

• Build strategic relationships with organizations across the telecommunications, IT, cable, and data center industries.
\n
• Develop and execute strategies to pursue and secure contracts with government agencies.
\n
• Identify and develop new business through targeted campaigns, trade shows, outbound prospecting, and other business development channels.
\n
• Build and manage a strong lead-generation and sales pipeline.
\n
• Manage B2B prospects through phone and email while responding to inbound opportunities and conducting outbound campaigns.
\n
• Prepare, present, and close customer proposals.
\n
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans with defined goals and targets.
\n

Client Relationships & Account Growth

\n
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
\n
• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to clients.
\n
• Understand customer objectives, challenges, and pain points.
\n
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and solution expansion .
\n
• Partner with account teams to qualify and win new opportunities.
\n

Strategy & Market Development

\n
• Monitor industry products, market developments, and competitive trends.
\n
• Analyze market opportunities and competitive activity to help adapt business development strategies.
\n
• Support and develop direct marketing campaigns.
\n
• Bring creative, original ideas to business development and customer engagement strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within the CRM.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or comparable relevant experience.
\n
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, data, and IT sales , including secondary and new telecom parts sales.
\n
• 10+ years of business development experience.
\n
• Demonstrated history of producing positive sales results through meaningful, long-term customer relationships.
\n
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
\n
• Ability to commute to Skokie, IL 60077 .
\n
