This role focuses on building machine learning models to generate advanced basketball statistics and analytics that drive decision-making and fan engagement.Key Responsibilities:Develop machine learning models to produce new basketball metrics and insightsWork closely with basketball analysts to ensure models reflect real-world game dynamicsDeploy models and collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure scalabilityTranslate complex data into clear visualizations and dashboards for internal teamsSupport ad hoc analytics projects as neededRequired Skills & Experience:Strong Python and SQL skillsBackground in machine learning, statistical modeling, or data scienceUnderstanding of basketball fundamentals (analytics knowledge)Ability to work with large datasets and model deployment pipelinesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred:Exposure to streaming data tools like Flink, Kafka, or KubernetesExperience in sports analytics or other sports data projects
