Details Work in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU within a children's hospital setting Care team includes Intensivist, RN, Desk Tech, RT, Dietary, and Case Management on day shift, with Intensivist, RN, and RT on night shift Patient ratio of 2:1 Uses general CR monitoring equipment EMR system is Meditech / CPN Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment length Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU experience required BLS and PALS certifications required CRRT experience preferred APHON certification preferred Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred Performs IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a teaching hospital environment Must work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced teaching hospital setting Strong patient care experience is a priority for this role Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-708020.
