Position Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This unique role offers a stable 4-day work week and combines analytical logistics management with hands-on warehouse operations, providing an excellent comprehensive view of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Documentation: Manage accurate shipment documentation, coordinate with transportation channels to track freight movements, negotiate freight rates, and audit shipping invoices.
- Warehouse Operations: Act as a leader on the shipping floor by setting the daily pace for shipping clerks, troubleshooting issues, and stepping directly into a hands-on Shipping Clerk role during the slow season to build loads and organize inventory.
- Inventory & Schedule Management: Track inventory movements, manage order processing timelines, and ensure all inbound and outbound freight meets rigorous delivery deadlines.
- Standard Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday (10-hour shifts).
- Peak Season: Mandatory Friday overtime required during peak shipping season (October through February).
- Work Environment: 100% on-site facility; fast-paced, deadline-driven, and physically active warehouse setting.
- Experience: Proven background in a logistics, shipping, or receiving role with a solid understanding of freight tracking and inventory management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in standard logistics/shipping software and advanced Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Key Traits: Accountable, detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of maintaining accuracy under time-sensitive deadline pressure.
