RN - Tele Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of travel experience required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience managing continuous IV medications including:Cardiac drips: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, NitroglycerinDiuretics: Bumex, LasixAnticoagulants: Aggrastat, Argatroban, HeparinInsulin drips Description: This position requires experience with managing cardiac drips and advanced telemetry nursing practices.You will be working as part of a team caring for patients in overflow IMCU.The primary patient population includes adults to geriatrics with diverse cardiac, renal, and pulmonary conditions.The role involves arrhythmia management, cardioversion, and care for patients post-cardiac catheterization.Basic arrhythmia knowledge and hemodynamic monitoring skills are essential.You may occasionally care for surgical patients and those requiring vascular patient overflow.The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5-6 on the unit.Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems is preferred.Floating to similar units may be required as needed.The commitment to work every other weekend is expected, with holidays included in your assignment.Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary for timely start.This role calls for strong clinical judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
