Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with middle school-aged students
• Strong understanding of special education processes, eligibility, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent assessment, observation, and report-writing skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload efficiently and compassionately

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to interpret assessment findings and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide ongoing consultation and support to staff regarding assessment results and best instructional practices
• Ensure all evaluations and required documentation meet federal, state, and school compliance standards
• Participate actively in ARD/IEP meetings and help guide instructional interventions based on student needs
• Maintain meticulous records and timelines for all students on the caseload
