Work Environment

You will work weekdays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing hands-on therapy to a diverse clientele in a stimulating and engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments to develop individualized rehabilitation plans focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques and guided exercise programs, tailored to each patient's needs.
• Adjust treatment approaches based on patient progress and feedback to ensure optimal outcomes, emphasizing active patient engagement in their recovery journey.
• Manage a patient volume of up to two patients per hour, maintaining a high standard of care while effectively documenting treatment plans and progress using WebPT or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and communicate patient progress effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT, along with strong interpersonal communication skills for effective patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous exposure to a variety of therapeutic modalities and advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Active involvement in patient education and community outreach initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

Hand and Hand Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 110,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience.
