Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse ER (Adult)

• Provide advanced emergency care for adult and pediatric patients
• Manage IV therapy, including blood product administration and IV vasopressors
• Administer CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management
• Interpret cardiac monitoring and manage dysrhythmias
• Apply isolation precautions and triage

Requirements of the Registered Nurse ER (Adult)

• Active New York Single State RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
• Minimum of two years of emergency nursing experience
• Experience with EPIC charting system
