Bus Aide

Description Position Title: Bus Aide Reports to: Director of Transportation FSLA: Exempt Summary of the position: To provide safe and efficient transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the school corporation's total educational programs. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Eighteen (18) years of age. Completion of school district training. Satisfactory criminal background check. Supervises: None Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in maintaining order and discipline.
- Assist in transportation of students safely on their route to and from school.
- Assist in loading and unloading handicapped children.
- Exhibit respect and active concern for all students in his or her charge.
- Be a good example for students in speech and appearance.
- Promote good public relations for the School Corporation and community.
- Life/AD&D and LTD for $2 per year
