Your Responsibilities in this Role

• Engaging in comprehensive patient evaluations, determining necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic medical conditions, in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Educating both patients and families about prevention protocols, lifestyle wellness, and effective disease management

Education and Certification Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a must
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license for the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or commitment to obtain within 90 days)
