Your Responsibilities in This Role

• Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatment modalities within your practice limits

Education and Credentialing Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable specialty credential
