Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at The Sound Mind, Ltd, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, each presenting unique challenges and experiences. Your expertise will help address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, contributing to improved patient outcomes through individualized care strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• A valid New York State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong technical capabilities in using telehealth tools and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred. Candidates with previous experience in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, or case management will be viewed favorably.
