Exciting Opportunity for a CVIUC RN!

Job Description:
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Extensions: Possible!
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 (based on acuity; may include overflow patients)

Must-Have Experience:
- Direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR
- Pressure monitoring and Swan-Ganz management
- Impella monitoring
- CRRT experience

Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BCLS
- NIHSS

Skills Required:
- Arterial line management
- Assist with chest tube insertion/removal
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood product administration
- Care of ventilated patients
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- CVA/Acute Stroke management
- CVVHD/CRRT
- Impella
- Infection prevention
- Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management
- PICC line management
- Post cardiac surgery (directly from the OR)
- Post cardiac surgery (not directly from the OR)
- Pre/post cardiac cath/intervention
- Procedural sedation administration/monitoring
- Sheath removal
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Surgical intensive care unit
- Titrate cardiac drips
- Titrate vasoactive drips
- Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
- Valve repair/replacement
- Ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD)

Submission Requirements:
- Candidate profile (work history)
- Specialty-specific skills checklist
- Minimum 2 manager/charge references (within past 2 years)
- RN License verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date)
- Copy of all required certifications
