Human Resource Recruiter

Fresh Mark in Salem, Ohio is currently accepting resumes for a Recruiter.

The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition and will be responsible for partnering with plant leadership to identify, attract, and hire top talent to support business operations. This role will play a key part in building strong talent pipelines, enhancing the candidate experience, and supporting workforce planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with plant management and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning objectives.


• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for hourly positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer facilitation.


• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.


• Coordinate and facilitate candidate interviews.


• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.


• Conduct pre-employment activities, including background checks, employment verification, and I-9 compliance.


• Support new hire onboarding and orientation programs.


• Maintain accurate candidate and employee records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS.  

Key Accountabilities

• Build strong partnerships with plant operations.


• Meet staffing goals by filling open positions in a timely and effective manner.


• Source and engage qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.


• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.


• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company hiring practices.


• Verify I-9 documentation and assist with pre-employment screening processes.


• Maintain accurate recruiting, onboarding, and personnel records.


• Support recruitment marketing and community workforce development initiatives.  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.


• 1-3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources experience with a strong emphasis on recruitment.


• Experience recruiting in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or industrial environment preferred.


• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and hiring regulations.


• Experience with ATS and HRIS systems.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
