What You'll Do as a Logistics Dispatcher:

• Support the coordination of daily transportation activities to ensure the accurate and timely movement of freight within a 100-mile radius of Savannah.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure scheduling requirements are met.
• Manage essential transportation documentation to maintain operational efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Dispatchers and Customer Service teams to align daily delivery goals with client expectations.
• Monitor route progress and adjust schedules in real-time to overcome traffic or logistical delays.

Skills and Experience

• Understanding of transportation logistics activities and freight movement, specifically within the local Savannah region.
• Ability to communicate clear instructions to drivers and collaborate effectively with internal support teams.
• Strong organizational & documentation habits with the ability to manage complex schedules with high accuracy.
• The capacity to problem solve & resolve coordination challenges in a fast-paced environment.
