Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules while maintaining a regular 40-hour workweek, with designated hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Counselors will engage in individual and group therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring continuity of care for our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for senior clients to identify specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, addressing emotional challenges related to aging, loss, or life transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on the geriatric population, including elderly clients dealing with various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders related to life transitions or chronic illnesses. Counselors will gain meaningful insights into the unique challenges faced by older adults and work towards creating individualized and culturally sensitive treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Washington.
