Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of elderly residents to determine their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Implement and supervise cognitive stimulation programs and interventions designed to promote mental acuity and decrease rates of cognitive decline in older adults.

• Provide grief and loss counseling for residents and their families, offering support during end-of-life transitions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and clinical interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 65,000 to USD 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a significant sign-on bonus.
