Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish a strong rapport with clients, creating a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages openness and honesty.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions and couples counseling, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

• Engage in regular progress evaluations, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal client outcomes.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and specialists when referrals are warranted, ensuring that clients receive holistic support.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately in compliance with industry regulations and organizational protocols.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Empowerment Edge Counseling, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. This includes relationship challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, and addiction-related concerns. You will be equipped to address the unique needs of each client, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
