Underwriting Analyst

Supporting the underwriting team, the full-time remote Underwriting Analyst will perform data analysis, assist with application processing, and provide customer service while collaborating on special projects and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities Conduct daily research and analysis of discrepancies in underwriting applications and policies Communicate with internal and external parties regarding billing, application, and policy administration processes Perform internal audits to ensure adherence to guidelines and compliance with legal regulations Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience (minimum 8 years) 2-5 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services Basic skills in Word, Excel, and SQL/Query Competent ability to comprehend and interpret insurance and contract documents Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
