Staff Accountant OpportunityOur client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers a great opportunity for an accounting professional or recent graduate to gain exposure to AR, AP, cash applications, reporting, and month-end close within a stable manufacturing environment.Why This Role?Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote after training)Flexible work hours (start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM)Supportive, low-stress accounting team with long employee tenureExposure to multiple areas of accounting, including AR, AP, cash applications, and month-end closeExcellent opportunity for recent Accounting or Finance graduatesKey ResponsibilitiesProcess cash applications, lockbox transactions, wires, and credit card paymentsSupport Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functionsAssist with daily sales and labor reportingPerform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracySupport month-end close activities and financial reportingLearn company systems and gradually take on additional accounting responsibilitiesAssist with ad hoc accounting projects and reporting requestsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceBasic knowledge of accounting principlesProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred:Internship or accounting experienceExperience with cash applications, AR, or APAdvanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and MacrosProcess improvement or data analysis experience
