ACCOUNTANT

Summary Processes daily AP and other accounting related data. Accounting Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes. Reconcile capital accounts and balance sheet ledger balances. Maintain supporting schedules for investments, debt, accruals, and other assets, Prepaid expenses, and other liabilities. Assist in preparation of financial statements and investor reporting packages. Prepare quarterly variance analysis. Cash Management & Controls Process wires and ACH payments in accordance with internal approval procedures. Ensure compliance with internal control policies. Accounts Payable Owns Accounts Payable function, providing hands‑on leadership to ensure timely and accurate billing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Assist with resolution of AR and AP issues and step in as needed to support daily operations in a small‑team environment. Audit, Compliance & Process Improvement Ensure adherence to firm policies, GAAP, and fund governing documents. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency. Maintain documentation of accounting policies and procedures. Assist in preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor requests. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, reconciliations, etc.). CPA or CPA‑eligible strongly preferred. Experience with Sage X3 a plus.
