$50.00/hr - $100.00/hr
Position: Legal Ops, Research & Compliance – AI Trainer
Type: Contract (Part‑time or Full‑time, Remote)
Compensation: Competitive (hourly / per task)
Location: Remote
Requirements:
Training support will be provided.
- Strong professional experience in legal operations, legal research, or compliance management
- Academic background in legal studies, law, business, compliance, public policy, or a related discipline
- Strong expertise in legal research and analysis, including statutes, regulations, and policy interpretation
- Proven experience in compliance management and regulatory oversight
- Familiarity with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, AML, or sector‑specific compliance frameworks
- Experience with legal operations management, process optimization, and legal technology tools
- Strong risk assessment, governance support, and audit preparation capabilities
- Ability to synthesize complex legal and compliance information into structured outputs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to clarity and precision
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment
- Preferred: Experience working with AI, legal tech, or compliance technology platforms
- Preferred: Familiarity with agile environments or legal digital transformation initiatives
- Preferred: Certifications in compliance, risk management, or legal operations
Role Responsibilities
- Translate real‑world legal operations and compliance workflows into structured AI training scenarios
- Develop, curate, and refine legal datasets, research outputs, and compliance use cases for AI training
- Conduct in‑depth legal research to inform AI model development and validation
- Analyze statutes, regulations, and policies to ensure legal accuracy in AI‑generated content
- Assess governance requirements, risk factors, and audit findings for inclusion in AI compliance scenarios
- Review AI‑generated legal and compliance outputs for accuracy, relevance, and completeness
- Collaborate with cross‑functional AI and quality teams to align legal workflows with AI systems
- Provide clear written and verbal feedback to continuously improve AI model performance
