Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Hybrid Position: Applicants must reside in Colorado at the time of hire.

Summary

The Compliance & Training Specialist (CTS) is responsible for coordinating and overseeing organizational training and compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory, accreditation, and company standards. This role manages training programs from planning through execution, maintains accurate training and credentialing records, and serves as a key resource for employees and leaders on compliance and learning requirements.

Key responsibilities include administering CPR certification programs, coordinating class scheduling and certification renewals, developing and implementing the annual training plan, facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding programs, and monitoring completion of required regulatory and role-specific training through the organization's Learning Management Systems (LMS). The CTS also serves as the primary liaison for LMS support, ensuring employees have access to the tools and resources needed to successfully complete their training requirements.

The CTS leads communication and engagement efforts through newsletters, training announcements, email campaigns, and other educational initiatives designed to increase awareness, participation, and organizational compliance. This position collaborates closely with operational leaders, Human Resources, and regulatory stakeholders to foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and regulatory excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer organizational training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and company requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the annual training plan, including required compliance and Develop, administer, and monitor the annual FTCA Risk Management Training Plan, ensuring completion, documentation, reporting, and ongoing compliance with HRSA and FTCA deeming requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor engaging training programs and course content through the Learning Management System (LMS), including creating and updating training materials, assigning courses, and tracking completion to ensure employees meet required training deadlines and learning objectives.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure timely completion of required training and documentation.
  • Manage CPR certification programs, including class scheduling, certification tracking, and renewal compliance.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), providing user support, training assignments, and reporting.
  • Track and monitor employee training progress to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct routine audits of training and compliance records, identifying and addressing gaps as needed.
  • Collaborate with external trainers and vendors to deliver effective training sessions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate training and compliance documentation to support regulatory reviews, surveys, and audits.
  • Develop and distribute compliance and training communications, including newsletters, announcements, reminders, and educational resources.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous learning.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, training and development, healthcare, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Experience administering and supporting a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience coordinating employee onboarding, training programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registration

  • Current CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) for creating communications.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and present findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and training administration practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, leadership, external partners, and academic institutions.

Miscellaneous Requirements

  • Compliance with employee health policies and procedures, including annual influenza (flu) vaccination or provide a medical/religious exemption, as well as undergo tuberculosis screening and testing.

Work Environment, Physical and Mental Demands

  • The work environment characteristics, physical and mental demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job on a routine or consistent basis.
  • This position is 75% remote, with some attendance required on an inconsistent basis on-site at STRIDE administrative offices and STRIDE clinics (e.g., to assist with on-site audits and other risk and compliance activities in STRIDE clinics).
  • Flexible hours to accommodate training sessions or compliance deadlines.
  • Enters data into computer programs via computer, mouse, and keyboard.
  • Moves about the office environment and occasionally to other locations.
  • The role also requires sitting, standing, and lifting <10 lbs. – Light.
  • Mentally, the position requires comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, communicating, instructing, and strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction.
  • Discerns/analyzes information from others to assist in decision making.

Work Schedule

The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday with established hours to occur during Business

hours timeframe between 7:30am - 5:30pm. STRIDE keeps the right to change the work schedule from time to time by notifying the job holder in advance.

We offer a competitive salary/hourly range of $65,000 - $75,000, depending on your experience.

This range reflects STRIDE’s good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on several factors, including experience, education, budget, internal equity, specialty, and training
