About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Development to spearhead the strategic, performance, and growth aspects of its Development team. This dual-role position encompasses both frontline fundraising and leadership, with a focus on managing a personal portfolio of principal and major gift prospects, as well as personally soliciting and closing six- and seven-figure gifts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting the standard for a high-performing team, partnering with the Executive Team, and owning the Development team's structure, staffing, goals, budget, and data-driven strategy. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Development role at the company is an experienced major gift fundraiser with a proven track record of team leadership. They should be capable of operating at an executive level and have the autonomy to shape the growth of the program. The role requires a professional who can elevate the Development team to new heights, with a focus on fostering lifelong connections and inspiring generosity. The position is pivotal in enhancing the student experience, improving campus facilities, and expanding scholarship opportunities, all of which contribute to the growth and tradition of excellence at the company.
