Registered Nurse (RN) - AH Levine Children's Hospital - Behavioral/Medical Observation - FT Nights Department 35407 Carolinas Medical Center - LCH: Nursing: 3K Observation Status Full time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 36 Schedule Details 3, 12-hour night shifts per week; 7p‑7a Weekend and holiday requirements Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work LCH 3K is a 22‑bed medical observation unit serving the child and adolescent behavioral health population with diagnoses such as suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, eating disorders, schizophrenia, autism, and sex trafficking. The unit provides stable medical care, crisis prevention intervention (CPI) training, and a safe environment while a team determines the next level of care or services for each patient. Expectations We’re Looking For Passion for behavioral health; prior experience preferred. Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. At least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire. What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum. Compensation Base compensation within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
