Join Our Team as a Heart Failure Cardiologist

Become a vital member of our organization’s Division of Cardiology, where you will play a key role in the only comprehensive DNV-certified advanced heart failure program in the region.

Program Overview

• Strong Institutional Support: Our program benefits from robust backing from both the institution and the community, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach.
• Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team of advanced practice providers and specialists in various fields, including cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery.
• Expertise in Cardiomyopathies: Engage with a team that specializes in cardiomyopathies, including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders.
• Comprehensive Patient Care: Provide pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients, collaborating with leading academic cardiac surgical centers in the Northeast.
• Innovative Care: Contribute to a well-established program focused on delivering innovative, patient-centered care to those with heart failure.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Clinically focused with relevant research experience and teaching capabilities suitable for an academic appointment.
• Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities are highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to patient care.
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality care to heart failure patients and advancing the cardiology field.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Eligibility for academic appointment and medical licensure in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive Salary: The salary range is between $350,000 and $400,000, with opportunities for incentive bonuses.
