Human Resources Generalist

How You Will Make an ImpactPartners with Human Resources team and organizational leadership to support the implementation of HR and company initiatives. Provides support in the functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Compensation, Talent Management, and Compliance.The Nuts and Bolts• Partners with HR peers and Managers to administer and coordinate responsibilities in the following functional areas (Based on Experience and Need): Employee Relations, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Assessment & Succession Planning, Training, Performance Management, Policy implementation & Administration, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Affirmative Action and Employment Law Compliance • Provides general coaching and counseling to team members• Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs• Oversees and administer all aspects of team member onboarding and orientation process, including but not limited to processing of new hire paperwork• Facilitates and/or provide learning and development (training) to the workforce• Organizes, assess and track employee training by partnering with operations team to support company production goals• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals • Assists in the administration of performance management • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports• Partners with team members and management to ensure compliance and communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations• Coaches and counsels leadership teams on appropriate corrective actions, as well as tracking of corrective action for consistency and implementation• Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data, and makes recommendations leadership• Responsible for representing the company at unemployment hearings, when necessaryRequired CredentialsEducation: • Degree preferred Experience:• At least 3 years of related Human Resources experience• Manufacturing industry or background preferredCertification /License:• PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferredHow We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
