Major responsibilities include quality control by reviewing that signed legal documents and loan input are within the approved and established lines, verify terms and conditions and Line of credit availability. Also serves as back-up in the asset approval processDuties of the PositionThe duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Review loans and letters of credit input before approval in the system ensuring that transactions meet terms and conditions of line of credit and legal documentsLog, track, exceptions related to credit transactions and present monthly report, escalating exceptions for approval prior to disbursementAssures loans are in compliance with terms, rate, verify G/L, appropriate approvals, documents and credit authorization, disbursal amounts, and correct general ledgerAssist with approval of Loans, Investments and Letters of Credit transactions in the absence of the AVP Loans & L/C Team LeaderMonitor legal documentation, audit safekeeping, and check pending documents in loans and lines of credit and follow upAssist with calculations, investigations and answer branch and customer inquiriesAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as interest on loans, discounts, commissions, averages and percentagesAssist with policies and procedures and implementation of controls related to quality controlProvide information, as needed, related to risk management, auditing, operation, and quality improvement, as requiredAbility to understand, speak (fluently), read and write English and SpanishAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to multitask and work under pressureEffectively speaking before groups of customers or employeesAssume evolving duties and responsibilities of positionWork all hours required to fulfill job duties and responsibilities including, weekends, evenings and holidays as neededTravel as requiredProvide coverage for other positions as requestedAbility to carry and lift boxes and/or other objects that may weigh between 10 and 25 pounds.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementPre-Hire Requirements for This PositionComputer: Ability to operate IBM compatible personal computers; fluency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Suite.
