An exciting opportunity awaits for a Teacher Consultant specializing in Special Education to support middle school students on a contract basis in the Dearborn, MI area. This position will engage you in meaningful work with a diverse caseload, helping students achieve academic and personal growth in a supportive environment. Start as soon as possible and make a difference throughout the academic year, continuing until June 11th, 2027. This role features a consistent 35-hour work week (Monday through Friday).

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Michigan Special Education (SPED) certification
• Demonstrated experience in a middle school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to manage caseload and adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and consultation with teachers and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Teacher Consultant, working directly with students requiring special education support
• Collaborate with instructional staff to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide instructional interventions and academic guidance tailored to students’ unique learning profiles
• Conduct assessments and offer recommendations for accommodations and modifications
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive educational environment
