Job Summary:
Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Intermediate Care Units (IMCU) are sought for a night shift position in Utica, NY. The role involves providing patient care in a facility that manages neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory diagnoses such as COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Utica, NY

• Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 2 years of experience in IMCU or Progressive Care Units (PCU); current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); up-to-date resume; matching drivers licenses with address demographics; EMR experience in EPIC; documentation of travel experience; certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; skills checklist matching specialty; license verification with ACTIVE NY License; RTO must be included at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specialty equipment such as Temp pacer, Chest tubes, Arterial lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo.
• Additional Information: Floating required; scrub color: Navy Blue.
• Unit specifics include management of neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions, with equipment such as temperature pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo.
