The Controller reports directly to the CFO. Responsibilities: The Controller is responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions in a professional and confidential manner. The Controller oversees the Finance Department and associated functions including but not limited to: Cost and general accounting Accounts receivable/collection Payroll and risk management. This position is a professional accounting position with responsibilities that are complex, confidential and essential to the financial integrity of the Agency. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or master’s degree preferred 10-15 years accounting non-profit business experience Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting and knowledgeable in GAAP, NY State and regulatory Agencies standards Knowledge and proficiency of financial systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
