Finance Accounting Manager

Job Summary Plans and directs general accounting functions within the finance department, performing duties personally or through subordinate supervision. Supervises and coordinates accounting staff activities to ensure appropriate controls and accuracy of reported information. Provides primary accounting support for cross‑functional areas impacting financial reporting — including manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, customer service, and payroll. Responsibilities encompass preparing financial statements, maintaining the general ledger system, assisting with interim and year‑end audits, and supporting business planning as needed. Responsibilities Supervise and assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements. Oversee the preparation of various operational and management reports as required. Direct the maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers, fixed assets, and depreciation systems. Oversee the AP team to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues outside the normal invoice‑matching process (e.g., PPV, IPV tracking, manual approvals, etc.). Assist the Controller with continued improvement to internal control structures. Assist the Controller in the preparation of internal and external audit matters. Direct and assist accounting staff personnel to achieve department goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA strongly preferred. 5–10 years of related experience with 3–5 years in a supervisory role. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (USGAAP and/or IFRS). Experience with integrated ERPs (Oracle a plus). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Self‑reliant, good problem solver, results oriented. Team focused with a continuous‑improvement mindset. Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who positively impacts accounting initiatives. Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills; able to interface effectively with senior management and staff. English language proficiency required.
