Baker / Food Prep

Inland Café & Tearoom is looking for a reliable Baker / Food Prep team member to help prepare our baked goods, breakfast and lunch ingredients, and other café items. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, can follow recipes consistently, and takes pride in keeping a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities include preparing and baking items such as scones, cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, and other desserts , along with prepping ingredients for sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and our tea service. The position also includes portioning and storing food, maintaining inventory and freshness, keeping prep areas clean and sanitized, washing dishes as needed, and helping the kitchen stay stocked and ready for service.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, efficient, organized, able to work independently, and comfortable following established recipes and food-safety procedures . Previous baking or kitchen experience is helpful but not required for the right person—we’re happy to train someone who is reliable and willing to learn.

Typical duties: Baking and food preparation, ingredient prep, portioning and labeling, stocking, kitchen organization, cleaning and dishes, and assisting with other café tasks as needed.

Schedule: Part-time, primarily morning/daytime hours.
Location: Inland Café & Tearoom — Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
