About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified IMC RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46801!

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1 (PCU) or 4-5:1 (MedSurg)
• Perform drip titration for clinicians experienced in this skill; those without this experience may be assigned to MedSurg/Tele units
• Utilize unit equipment including EPIC, PYXIS, Philips Bedside Monitors, and Philips defibrillator
• Participate in a Jumpstart orientation program and EPIC training, followed by 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation
• Float to like units (e.g., MedSurg) as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Adhere to dress code requirements: Caribbean blue scrubs

• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med/Tele nursing experience
• Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard contract rate; candidates within 50 miles may be subject to a local rate adjustment

• Previous cardiac nursing experience
• Experience with drip titration in a progressive care or stepdown setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system

• Work within a structured, team-based environment - you will never work alone on this unit
• Gain experience in a 12-bed progressive care unit with a consistent expected schedule that includes three weekend shifts per four-week rotation
