Position Account Manager – Charlotte, NC Job Description The Account Manager is responsible for the daily functioning of client site locations, including operations, customer service, personnel management, and security & safety in accordance with Sunstates and client objectives. The role requires availability to support services and address any related issues arising from the service agreement. Responsibilities Direct, coordinate, and manage all site security personnel. Identify and recruit new talent with assistance from HR. Process new employees through the Sunstates onboarding system. Train and mentor security officers to oversee daily operations, promoting efficiency, profitability, customer service, and ethics. Provide training on procedural guidelines, company policies, and operational & site‑specific forms. Participate actively in onboarding, interviewing, and selecting candidates who meet Sunstates’ qualifications, ensuring timely training and licensure. Manage employee performance, administer reward and incentive programs, coach staff, and implement corrective actions with branch guidance, ensuring compliance with company policy and regulations. Build positive employee relations and resolve customer complaints with guidance from regional management. Serve as the primary contact for the client sites and communicate with the local office as needed. Maintain records and ensure full participation in the Sunstates Security LMS and training platform. Coordinate with the region to establish site goals and communicate with clients. Develop action plans toward goal achievement and set personnel expectations. Manage administrative and operational functions to ensure accurate schedules, proper holiday and vacation handling, and adherence to management guidance. Handle account inspections and maintain the inspection scorecard to meet or exceed commitments. Conduct Quality Assurance checks through eHub to achieve positive results. Respond to security personnel queries, site events, and ensure qualified support is available. Foster superior customer relations to ensure client retention and satisfaction. Promote Sunstates’ reputation for professionalism and ethics, creating new opportunities and markets. Ensure accounts remain consistently on budget and service-related targets, addressing deficiencies through action plans. Qualifications 8+ years of related management experience. Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred). Willingness to undergo an extensive background check. Ability to obtain state‑issued security license. Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience. Advanced knowledge of computers and technology. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Salary and Compensation Base salary of $83,000.00, plus medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, a 401(k) plan, yearly PTO, and tuition assistance.
